About the Queen

The Queen has reigned over us for 60 years. Those 60 years have been glorious years for the Queen. The Queen was born in 1926, on the 21st of April. She was named Elizabeth Alexandra Mary. The Queen is 86 years old. My favourite part about the Jubilee weekend was when she was waving on the balcony with Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate and Prince Harry. I sang "God save the Queen".
This is interesting information you have found out, Laura. I didn't know that the queen had all those names. I expect she was called Alexandra after one of her great
ReplyDeletegrandmothers and Mary after her grandmother. Elizabeth was the Queen Mother's name too. I always like seeing the Royal family on the balcony too. They came out on the balcony after the trooping of the colours too, and there was a little girl there but I don't know who she was. Perhaps she was the Princess Louise.
